Very close to each other, these two phones inherit the same brushed aluminum case, a case cut by two plastic tabs glued against their top and bottom slices.
Ergonomics is rather basic for its part and the three usual physical buttons are thus all grouped on the right flank of the phones, one under the other. The two volume controls thus dominate the power button.
Vivo is back with two smartphones oriented selfies
Vivo added a fourth button under the screen, a button naturally housing a fingerprint reader.
The slab is rather imposing, but it is framed by thick and unsightly borders. To make matters worse, the builder surrounded the slab with a thin black thread.
If the latter will go completely unnoticed on the black model, it will be quite different on the white version and the pink version since both are endowed with a white facade.
The Vivo X9s boasts a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, a display capable of displaying 1920 x 1080. Behind, there is a Snapdragon 652 coupled with 4 GB of RAM, with 64 GB of storage space at key.
A conventional design, an imperfect technical sheet
The photo part is based on a main sensor with a resolution of 16 million pixels. The front-end camera goes further and uses a 20-megapixel sensor and a second 5-megapixel sensor. The aperture of the three optics is fixed at f / 2.0.
The 4G answers the call, the same for WiFi 802.11 ac, GPS and Bluetooth 4.2. The battery reaches a capacity of 3320 mAh powered by a Micro USB port. No USB Type-C, therefore.
The Vivo X9s Plus goes a little further with a 5.85-inch screen and a 4,015 mAh battery. The rest of the datasheet does not change on the other hand and we find the same processor and the same photo sensors.
