Two ‘IS militants’ shot dead in encounter in Karachi
After months of target killing and terrorist attacks to IS, millitants were killed in the exchange of gun fires in the outskirts of Karachi on Monday evening. The militants were hidden in the small town named ‘Latif town’ they were involved in target killing of many people including some high profile people such as DSP traffic police Faiz Shigri. One of the target killer’s name was Abu Huzaifa while the name of the second one is not identified yet.
“Abu Huzaifa was already connected with the banned Al Qaeda in the India (AQIS), however later on he joined IS,” said Malir SSP Rao Anwar. The officer was sure that the IS organization was ‘extending’. He said they were likewise engaged with the murdering of Shia people group of individuals on partisan grounds. The SSP said a few individuals from the outfit were executed by security constraints in Balochistan’s Mastung range.
Last month in the intelligence based operation done in mastung 12 IS terrorists were killed. Among those, their was the top rated and mid rated leaders of IS Pakistan were killed. That operation also took the life of 2 police officials and left one policeman wounded.
The range was being utilized as an operational base of IS and Lashkar-i-Jhangvi Al Alami in Balochistan, as per authorities.
Then, the Shah Latif Town police asserted to have grabbed an 8mm rifle, a TT gun and a grabbed bike from the locals.
