Sharp intends to carve out a share of the cake and so join Xiaomi, Samsung and many others in the design of borderless phones.
The Japanese company will hold a press conference on July 17 to present two new smartphones almost entirely devoid of borders: the FS8010 and the FS8016.
Sharp will also switch to borderless
According to the information provided by the manufacturer, these two aircraft should benefit from an excellent ratio. Their screen occupies indeed a little more than 91% of their surface.
The manufacturer would have preserved edges a few millimeters wide on the sides so as not to expose the slab to shocks. It would also be necessary to count on a tongue a few centimeters wide at the top, a tongue devolved to the front camera and to the various usual sensors.
Contrary to what one might think, these terminals will not come to position on the top of the range.
The FS8016 should indeed embark a Snapdragon 660, against a Snapdragon 630 for the second model. Their screen could display a definition rotating around 2048 x 1080 and it would additionally have to count on a photo sensor of 12 million pixels located on the back of the device.

However, Sharp has not given more details and it is not clear whether these phones will or will not be equipped with a fingerprint reader. We do not know either the amount of RAM or onboard storage space, or how much it will cost to get their hands on them.
To answer all these questions, we will have to wait until the press conference of the manufacturer. However, it should be remembered that Sharp has a habit of focusing on the Japanese market. In short, nothing says that these devices will come out on the old continent.
