Floyd Mayweather Jr. defeats Conor McGregor by TKO

Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a result that shocked few has defeated Conor McGregor by technical knockout in front of a crowd of 14,623 on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

It was surprising for many as McGregor going toe to toe with Mayweather until the decisive 10th round.

Mayweather after the bout said “He’s a lot better than I thought he was”.

Surpassing Rocky Marciano Mayweather now holds record of 50-0 now, whereas Rocky went 49-0. Mayweather announced this was the final fight of his career after Saturday’s win, calling McGregor “a hell of a champion.”

Mayweather said “A win is a win, no matter how you get it”. He added “Rocky Marciano is a legend, and I look forward to going into the Hall of Fame one day.”
